This could suggest that this type of magazine would potentially attract the younger audience(of teenagers aged from 14-18). The props mainly used in this magazine is rock album cds, microphone and etc. The makeup used in this magazine is quite light, to make sure the main artist is not too bright. The use of the mast head is very effective as it adds emphasis of how important the artist is by putting the mast head in a graphic font, which will capture the audience attention.. Pull quotes and close quotes are very effective in this magazines as these quotes mainly contain lyrics or words from the artist/band interviews or upcoming singles. The main use of text boxes and captions are highly effective as it mentions other bands or artists that will be mentioned within this magazine. Which lets the audience know about different artists coming out. The relationship between the text and the image is that it lets the audience know more earlier about more information about the artist and other artists within the genre of rock. Language used is not mainly formal, because this magazine is reaching a younger audience. Therefore, it will not use all formal language, in order to make it more effective towards them. The band bring me the horizon is portrayed in this issue of the magazine, there portrayed by having a big medium image of them on the front page. This connotes how the magazine wants them to be the main star. The use of how the cover lines are very helpful as they give me an idea of what to include about the artists and what would be also featured within the exclusive of the magazine such as the interviews, articles and designing the front cover, content page and double page of the magazine. This magazine would include loads of abbreviations such as omg and wtf as this would appeal and be effective towards the readers and also by using this it allows the magazine to sound more in style and fresh. As it would address the audience so that they can enjoy and feel the ease when reading the magazine. The high use of the colour scheme in the magazine which is red,white and black mainly as it is mostly used in most rock magazines. The mast head is very big as in the font and is in a graffiti style which appeals to the readers. As, it is trending towards teenagers.
